June 30, 2026

The unsung hero of hospitality lighting

Wall sconces are often the most-ordered fixture type in any hotel project . A typical hotel needs 200-500 sconces.

Corridor sconces

1800mm center height, 2.5-3m spacing, 3000K, CRI 80+, ADA-compliant where required.

Guest room sconces

Focused reading light, 30-degree beam angle, 2700K, separate switch per side.

Restaurant and bar sconces

Uplight washes walls (taller feel). Downlight creates intimacy. Bi-directional does both.

IP ratings for wet areas

Bathrooms: IP44 minimum. Outdoor terraces: IP44-IP65. Indoor corridors: IP20.

Maison Loucelle sconce collections

ADA-compliant profiles, adjustable reading lights, decorative sconces in brass, bronze, and matte black.

A hotel needs one great chandelier. It needs two hundred great sconces.
