2200 to 2700 K reads as candlelight and warm residential: restaurants, bars, bedrooms and spas. 3000 K is warm neutral: lobbies, corridors and mixed spaces. 3500 K and above belongs to functional back-of-house areas. Consistency across all sources in one space matters more than the exact value.
